Christmas Gifts for Children

It's Christmas time again and we are getting everything ready for our gift distribution day.  Applications may be filled out at the Second Time Around Boutique for Morgan County (a new one must be filled out even if you did so last year).  Deadline for return of applications is December 11.  The giveaway will be on December 15, 2013  from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Building (across from jail) in Wartburg.

If you are already on file in Scott County you don't need to fill out an application but if not then you may do so at the Boys and Girls Club in Huntsville on the day of the distribution.  Scott County's day will also be on December 15, 2013 but from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Boys and Girls Club in Huntsville.

On the day of distribution we ask that only the parent or guardian come, not the children receiving the gifts.  This is to help the volunteers be able to serve the applicants in a timely manner. Please bring food stamp card or some proof of income.

We want every child to have a very Merry Christmas.
